The design of this shoe was replicated from the one painted in Jan Steen’s 1660 painting “The Idlers” The replica was made on a straight last with jump style heel. All ready-to-wear pieces will be made on left and right lasts. Each shoe is sewn with hand twisted and waxed threads with wild German boar hair as needles.
